Over the last few weeks I have worked tirelessly producing the 2nd annual Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo. Fortunately, the stars aligned and the community came out to support this FREE event along the banks of Bayou St. John. There were approximately 12,000 people who attended this one day event. Over 140 volunteers participated from all over the country. However, a very small group of Mid-City residents were instrumental in the planning and execution of the festival. I’m forever grateful to those who made a dream, reality. Thanks ya’ll.
